Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter (born Holly Hunter) is an American actress and producer. She has gained recognition for her outstanding roles in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano, and The Incredibles. She won several awards like an Oscar for her role in the film Piano. Her career began as an actor on Broadway as well as Off Broadway. It has always been her love of life. In the fifth grade she played Helen Keller in an original play. She became deaf in one ear after suffering from mumps but did not permit this to deter the determination of her to become an actress. In her early years, she took classes in drama at the college level and then moved into New York City from Pittsburgh in order to follow her dreams. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and the pair collaborated in Broadway Crimes of the Heart the first movie Hunter made. As she settled in Los Angeles, she began to look for film roles. She landed one in the role of an actress playing the leading character Swing Shift. Since then she has appeared in a variety of TV movies and series over a career spanning more than three decades. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actress and won Women in Film Lucy Award.
