Morgan appeared in a film on AIDS awareness and prevention, Safe Sex for Men and Women. Morgan gave a percentage of her earnings towards the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She's a part of the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the leader of numerous fund-raising efforts for the illness and has presented testimony in the Congressional Special Committee on AIDS Education. She is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA along with Amfar. She has been asked to fill in for former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop at the AIDS-related gatherings. Steve Bell, a news anchor, has also presented a AIDS Awareness Special. Ted Koppell has interviewed her two times about AIDS during Nightline. Morgan has been nominated for the Emmy winner for Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. The spring season saw Morgan co-starring with Joan Rivers as Your Money or Your Wife on ABC television. Summer began with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. The production, Von Zerneck/Sertner also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. Her next project took Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in Harmony Gold's production. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also in the show. Morgan played a part in the psychological thriller made exclusively by the USA Network garnering one of the highest ratings ever recorded by the network's history.
